About Erich

In my (nearly) thirty years now, I've spent considerable time pursuing various passions of mine, including entrepreneurship, content development, acting, and athletics. I've always been drawn to the excitement and challenge of starting something new, whether that's a business venture or a creative project, and thrived when leading teams in various competitive environments.

My journey as an entrepreneur began in college when I launched my first company alongside my father and business partner. Over the years, I've continued to build and grow successful businesses in a variety of industries, from healthcare to wellness to consulting. Along the way, I've learned valuable lessons about leadership, teamwork, and what it takes to succeed in today's fast-paced business world.

My Story

I've always been a passionate and driven individual, constantly seeking out new challenges and opportunities for growth. This drive led me to launch my first company, Genesis Healthy Homes, alongside my father and business partner, Terry Amerine, immediately following my junior year at the University of Kansas.

Over the years, our focus shifted toward the connection between Indoor Air Quality and Respiratory Health, which led us to launch Salinity Salt & Flotation Spa in 2017. This business focused on the respiratory health and general wellness benefits of Halotherapy and Sensory Deprivation Floatation Therapy.

As an entrepreneur, I've spent years studying business strategy, focusing on many of the concepts and ideologies developed by respected business leaders such as Gary Vaynerchuk and Simon Sinek. Through this study, I've developed an entrepreneurial methodology for business development through strong leadership and team building, data-based decision-making, and long-term brand development. This approach has proved itself with each of the businesses I have led under our family parent company, Amerine Family Enterprises, as each company continues to see year-over-year growth despite the pandemic and economic headwinds of the present.

Outside of my work as an entrepreneur and business consultant, I've also pursued my passions in sports and acting. I played baseball into college and remain active in amateur sports year-round. I've also acted in a number of films, including The Hardest Thing to Earn (2015) directed by Benjamin Waller, and Unfortunate Tales of Unfortunate People (2019) directed by Keenan Capps.
